After being a victim of censorship by the Lithuanian government of the time, the work of photographer Vitas Luckus, an irreverent one from the Soviet generation of the sixties, has spread throughout the world as one of the most singular in Europe.
But the extraordinary things in Vitas's life also occurred behind the lens. In Master and Tatyana, we concentrate in the photographer's life with her beloved Tatyana Aldag. She and his closest friends recall the intense and surreal life of the indomitable Vitas.
For Vitas, sleeping next to a lion was as usual as getting drunk or walking head down on the roof of his small apartment full of unusual objects. But too much love and too much irreverence ended up being a lot of weight for the life of this extraordinary artist.
