Pauls Planet is a portrait of the musician, singer and songwriter, Paul Fuster, who made a cycling tour around Catalonia of 60 days, 2,080 km. and 55 concerts, pedaling a bicycle made with his own hands, just like the guitar he plays.
Paul's Planet, the indomitable nomad of music
A man is cycling on a wet road. It is not a normal bicycle; it is a freight bike that he built himself. The man is bearded, with mane and carries not less than three suitcases of medium size. He stops on the way, smokes one of the twenty cigarettes he will have smoked at the end of the day and then continues. He is Paul Fuster, an American musician on his first day of his tour of concerts around Catalonia.
Directors Aleix Barbat and Marc Sirisi film this motivation journey in which we get to know Paul from his own testimony and that of several interviewees. Ten years of introspection and anonymity in North America, a son left behind in the United States and skateboarding prizes in his childhood are just a few pieces of Paul´s life. His music enlivens the entire film, always with the texture of a live performance recording with his nostalgic voice and his acoustic guitar.
