Adesuwa Addy Iyare is an emerging Nigerian-American actress, writer, and producer. She was born in Nigeria, and raised in the United States. Adesuwa is a graduate of Harvard University, where she majored in Social Anthropology.
Adesuwa started her acting career in college, when she was cast in a student film. She then went on to perform in various plays, including A Raisin in the Sun, and Fences. Adesuwa also took part in several theatre festivals, and was part of the National Black Theatre Festival.
