Andrew Copson is an English actor best known for his roles in the television series “The Crown” and “The Musketeers”. He was born in 1979 in Lincolnshire, England and grew up in a small rural village.

He studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and soon after graduated in 2002. He made his stage debut in a production of “The White Devil” at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

After his debut, Andrew had a number of small roles in television and film, including appearances in “Doctor Who”, “Spooks” and “The Bill”. He also appeared in the miniseries “The State Within” in 2006.

In 2011, Andrew landed the role of “Giles” in the British television series “The Musketeers” and was part of the show’s ensemble cast for three seasons. The show followed the adventures of four musketeers in 17th century Paris.

Andrew then had a recurring role in the hit Netflix series “The Crown” from 2016-2017 as “Patrick Hennessy”. This role gave him the opportunity to work with some of the best actors in the business, including Claire Foy and Matt Smith.

In 2018, he was cast as “Vincent” in the BBC series “Luther” opposite Idris Elba. He has also had guest roles in “Silent Witness” and “The Last Kingdom”.

In addition to acting, Andrew has also worked as a voice actor and has been the narrator for a number of documentaries, including “The Great War: A People’s Story” and “The Price of Victory: The Human Cost of War”.
