Annalet Steenkamp is an award-winning South African director, producer and screenwriter. She has won a number of prestigious awards, including the South African Film and Television Award for Best Director and Best Short Film.
Born in 1979 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Annalet grew up in a creative family. Her mother was a musician and her father was an artist. She was inspired by her parents’ creative pursuits and decided to pursue a career in filmmaking from an early age.
Annalet attended the University of Johannesburg, where she studied film and television production. In addition to her work in feature films, Annalet has also directed several television series, including ‘Mama Jack’ (2007), ‘The Road’ (2009), and ‘The Good Life’ (2012). She has also directed several commercials and music videos.
