Charlotte Ruddock is an English actress who is best known for her roles in a variety of television series and films, including The Bill, Holby City, Midsomer Murders and the BBC’s Casualty.

Ruddock was born in London in 1979 and started her career in acting when she was just six years old. She trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and began performing in local theatres. She made her screen debut in 2001, guest-starring in the popular British medical drama series Casualty.

Since then, Ruddock has had guest-starring roles in a number of television series, including The Bill, Holby City, Midsomer Murders and Doctors. She has also had supporting roles in films such as The Descent and The Da Vinci Code.

In addition to her acting career, Ruddock is also a trained dancer. She has worked as a choreographer for a variety of productions, including Singin' in the Rain, We Will Rock You and The Wizard of Oz.

Ruddock's stage work has seen her appear in numerous plays, including the West End productions of Richard III, For King and Country and The Merchant of Venice. She has also been a part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s productions of Macbeth and As You Like It.

In 2017, Ruddock had a lead role in the feature film, The Disappearance of Alice Creed. The film follows Alice Creed (Ruddock), who is kidnapped and held for ransom. The intense story follows Alice as she attempts to find a way to escape her captors and make it back to safety.

Ruddock’s performance in The Disappearance of Alice Creed won her a number of awards, including Best Actress at the British Independent Film Awards.

Ruddock continues to work in both television and film. She is currently filming for a number of upcoming projects, including the upcoming thriller, The Girl Who Fell From the Sky.
