Chuck Todd is an American news anchor and the current host of NBC's Meet the Press with Chuck Todd. He is also the political director for NBC News and a contributor to NBC's Today.

Todd was born on April 8th, 1972 in Miami, Florida. He attended George Washington University, where he graduated in 1993 with a degree in political science. After graduation, he worked in various political roles, including at the Democratic National Committee and the White House Office of Political Affairs.

In 1999, Todd began his career in journalism as a producer for NBC News at the Washington Bureau. He then moved on to the network's political unit where he covered the 2004 Presidential election. From 2007-2008, Todd served as the network's White House Correspondent.

In 2008, Todd was named the Chief White House Correspondent for NBC News. He regularly interviewed President Obama, and was the first to report on the President's decision to run for a second term. During his time as Chief White House Correspondent, Todd often moderated news events and debates during the 2012 presidential campaign.

In 2014, Todd was named the host of NBC's Meet the Press, becoming the first permanent host in four years. He is also the Political Director for NBC News and contributes regularly to NBC's Today show.

Todd is an avid music fan, and often appears on stage with music acts when given the chance. He's been known to DJ parties, and is an active member of the music community in Washington, DC.

Todd is married to Kristian Denny Todd, and together they have two children. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has been cited in both Time and Newsweek as one of the most influential people in the media.
