Clarence Page is an American journalist, columnist, and political commentator. He is best known for his long-running syndicated column for the Chicago Tribune, for which he won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1989. He is also a regular panelist on the television show, Inside Washington.

Page was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1947. He attended the University of Dayton, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1969. After graduation, he began his career as a reporter with the Dayton Journal Herald. He went on to work for the Chicago Tribune in 1972, writing feature stories and covering the White House for the newspaper.

In 1974, Page began writing his column for the Chicago Tribune, which quickly gained a wide readership. He was praised for his incisive and often humorous commentary on current events. In 1989, he won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary for his work.

Page has also written several books, including Showing My Color: Impolite Essays on Race and Identity (1996), Culture Worrier: Selected Commentaries on Popular Culture (2009), and Page by Page: A Collection of Columns (2012).

Throughout his career, Page has been a regular panelist and commentator on television shows such as Inside Washington, Washington Week in Review, and The McLaughlin Group. He has also appeared as a guest on news programs such as Meet the Press, Good Morning America, and The Today Show.
