BIO

Danielle Ricciardi is an American actress who is best known for her roles in the films "The Place Beyond the Pines" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love." She is also known for her television roles in "Gossip Girl" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

Ricciardi was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1984. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she studied acting. She then went on to study at the prestigious Yale School of Drama.

Ricciardi made her acting debut in 2001 in the television series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." She went on to star in various television series including "Gossip Girl," "The Closer" and "The O.C." She also had a recurring role in the Fox drama "Lie to Me." In 2011, Ricciardi made her big screen debut in the drama "The Place Beyond the Pines" starring Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper. She then went on to star in the romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love."

Ricciardi is also an accomplished theater actress, having starred in various Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. She most recently appeared in the Broadway production of "The Nance" starring Nathan Lane.

In addition to acting, Ricciardi is also a singer and songwriter. She is the lead singer of the indie rock band "The Ricciardis." Ricciardi has released two solo albums and has performed at various music festivals across the country.
