David Forman is an American actor best known for his role as Dr. Richard Stone on the medical drama series ER. He has also had major roles in films such as Lethal Weapon 4, Armageddon, and The Core.

Forman was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1949. He attended Northwestern University and graduated with a degree in theater. After college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He worked as an extra on various television shows before landing his first major role in the 1984 film The Flamingo Kid.

Forman has appeared in numerous television shows and films throughout his career. In 1990, he was cast as Dr. Richard Stone in the medical drama series ER. He played the role for seven seasons, receiving two Emmy nominations for his performance.

Forman has also appeared in films such as Lethal Weapon 4, Armageddon, and The Core. He has also guest starred on shows such as CSI, Law & Order, and Without a Trace.

Forman is also an accomplished stage actor. He has performed in several Broadway productions, including productions of The Misanthrope, The Winter's Tale, and The Tempest.
