David Hildreth is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work on the films The Matrix, The Godfather Part III, American Gangster, and The Silence of the Lambs.
Hildreth was born on April 14,1955 in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in the valley and graduated from Hollywood High School in 1973. He studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, and received his bachelor's degree in film and television in 1979.
