Dean Gomersall is an accomplished British actor, best known for his roles in the popular television series, Eastenders and Doctor Who.

Born in Manchester, England, Dean Gomersall was always passionate about performing and acting. He began his acting career at the age of six, appearing in local theatre productions. He went on to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he graduated in 2002.

Gomersall’s breakthrough role came in the form of a regular character on the popular BBC soap opera, Eastenders. He played the role of Darren Miller, a former soldier, from 2002 to 2004. During his time on the show, Gomersall was nominated for the Inside Soap Best Newcomer Award.

In 2006, Gomersall made his debut in the Doctor Who episode, “The Impossible Planet”. He played the role of Dr. Jefferson, a scientist working on the planet of Krop Tor. He reprised the role in the episode “The Satan Pit”.

Throughout his career, Gomersall has appeared in a variety of television shows and films. He has had guest appearances in the British dramas, Holby City and Casualty, as well as the crime drama, Silent Witness. He has also had roles in the films, The Bank Job and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Gomersall continues to act and is currently working on a new BBC drama, The Five. He also teaches and mentors young actors at the Manchester School of Acting.
