Dorothe Daerholt is a Danish film director and screenwriter, best known for her work in the comedy-drama film, "Hjemme hos os" (2016).
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1971, Daerholt grew up in a family of six, with her father working as an architect and her mother as a musician. From an early age, she was fascinated by the art of storytelling and film. She attended the Danish Film School, graduating with a degree in film and television in 1995.
