Dustin Hollick is a director, producer, and writer from Melbourne, Australia. He is best known for his work on the critically-acclaimed documentaries The People's Republic of Machines (2015), and the award-winning short film The Last Man on Earth (2016).
Hollick's career in film began in 2010, when he wrote and directed the short film The Room. The film received a number of accolades, including the Grand Jury Award at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival.
In 2015, Hollick wrote and directed the feature-length documentary The People's Republic of Machines. The documentary explored the human side of the rise of automation and robotics in China. It was nominated for Best Documentary at the Melbourne International Film Festival, and won Best Documentary at the Sydney Film Festival.
In 2016, Hollick wrote and directed the short film The Last Man on Earth. The film tells the story of a man who is the last survivor of an apocalyptic event. The film won the Best Short Film award at the Melbourne International Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival.
Hollick has also worked on several other projects, including the feature film The Outlaw (2017), and the documentary series The Automation Revolution (2016).
