BIO

Eric Michel is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. He is best known for his work in the television industry, having directed and produced shows such as ‘Life Sentence’, ‘The 100’, ‘iZombie’, ‘Supergirl’, ‘Riverdale’, ‘The Flash’, and ‘Lucifer’.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1974, Eric Michel’s passion for filmmaking began at an early age. He was inspired by the films of Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, and Martin Scorsese, and started making short films with his family’s video camera.

He went on to study film at Concordia University, where he wrote and directed several award-winning short films. In 2009, he was offered the opportunity to direct an episode of ‘Life Sentence’ and has since directed several episodes of ‘The 100’, ‘iZombie’, ‘Supergirl’, ‘Riverdale’, ‘The Flash’, and ‘Lucifer’.

In addition to his television work, Eric Michel has also directed a feature film, ‘The Breakup’, and several documentaries. He also co-founded the production company ‘Life Sentence Productions’, which has produced a number of feature films and shorts.

Eric Michel’s work has been recognized by numerous awards, including a Directors Guild of Canada award for Best Direction in a Dramatic Series for ‘Life Sentence’ and a Leo Award for Best Direction in a Dramatic Series for ‘The 100’.

Eric Michel continues to work in the television and film industry, directing and producing an array of projects. He is also a passionate mentor, teaching film classes at University of British Columbia and helping young filmmakers learn the art of filmmaking.

His passion for film and his inspiring career have made Eric Michel one of the most sought-after directors in the industry. With a vast portfolio of work that continues to grow, Eric Michel is a true master of his craft.
