Eric Trump is an American businessman and philanthropist. He is the third child and second son of President Donald Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump. He is executive vice president of The Trump Organization and has been involved in a variety of initiatives, including his father’s presidential campaign.
Eric was born on January 6, 1984, in Manhattan, New York. He attended The Hill School, a private college preparatory boarding school in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in finance and management. He also holds an Executive MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
Eric began his career at The Trump Organization in 2006. He worked in the real estate division, focusing on the development of golf courses, resorts, and luxury properties. He also oversaw the Trump Winery, Trump National Golf Club, and the Trump International Golf Club.
In 2009, Eric founded the Eric Trump Foundation, which provides support to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The organization has raised millions of dollars for the hospital, and Eric is a frequent visitor to St. Jude’s.
In 2016, Eric joined his father’s presidential campaign, and after his father’s victory, he was named a senior advisor to his father’s administration. He has also served as a spokesman for the president and the Trump Organization.
Eric is married to Lara Yunaska, a former television producer. The couple has two children, Luke and Carolina. Eric is also very active in philanthropic causes and has been involved with the Eric Trump Foundation, the Children’s Hospital of New York, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Wounded Warriors Project, and the Police Athletic League.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys playing golf, skiing, and attending sporting events. He also enjoys spending time with his family – especially his children – and has been known to take them on trips to his father’s resorts.
