Francisco Molina is an award-winning Mexican actor, best known for his roles in the television series “El Señor de los Cielos” and “La Reina del Sur”. Born in Mexico City on May 10, 1985, Francisco began his acting career in 2006 with a minor role in the series “La Madrastra”.

Molina’s big breakthrough came four years later when he landed the leading role of ‘El Señor de los Cielos’ in the eponymous series. The show was a massive success and ran for five seasons. His performance earned him two awards at the Premios Tu Mundo, including Best Lead Actor.

In 2012, Molina starred in the series “La Reina del Sur”, playing the role of a Mexican drug lord. This role earned him an additional two awards at the Premios Tu Mundo. Following his success in the two series, Molina was cast in the film “La Reina de España”, where he played the role of a Spanish king.
