Lucas Costanzi is an award-winning director, producer, and cinematographer born in Brazil and currently based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his work on the films ‘Resonance’ and ‘Cicada’, which earned him several awards, including the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary.

Costanzi began his career in the film industry as a production assistant in his home country of Brazil. He gained experience by working on a variety of projects for television, short films, music videos, and commercials, before eventually moving to the United States. Here, he worked as a cinematographer and 2nd unit director for various films and television shows until he eventually made his directorial debut in 2016 with his documentary short ‘Resonance’.

The film was well-received and earned Costanzi several awards, including the DGA Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary Award. This achievement made him the first Brazilian to win this award. Following his success with ‘Resonance’, Costanzi went on to direct several other short films and documentaries, including ‘Cicada’, which also earned him several awards and recognition.

Costanzi’s most recent project is the feature-length documentary ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, which is currently in post-production.
