Luciano Pérez Fernández is a Spanish filmmaker and director, born in Madrid in 1981. He is best known for his work on the award-winning films “Comes a Bright Day” and “The Three Kings”.
Pérez Fernández grew up in a creative family and was exposed to the arts from a young age. He attended Madrid’s prestigious Complutense University, where he studied film and television. After graduating, he worked as an assistant director for several popular Spanish television shows.
In 2008, Pérez Fernández made his directorial debut with the romantic comedy “Comes a Bright Day”, starring Spanish actors Fernando Tejero and Verónica Sánchez. The film was a critical and commercial success, winning several awards. It also launched Pérez Fernández’s career as a director.
In 2013, Pérez Fernández directed the drama “The Three Kings”, starring Spanish actors Mario Casas and Blanca Suárez. The film was a critical success, receiving numerous awards and nominations.
Since then, Pérez Fernández has gone on to direct several other films including “The Perfect Crime” (2015), “The Contract” (2017), and “The Hummingbird Project” (2018).
