Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1977, Marc grew up with a passion for the arts. He attended the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University, where he earned a degree in Film Studies. After graduating, he moved to Toronto to pursue a career in film.
Marc started his career as an editor and assistant director, and soon began directing his own short films. He continued to hone his craft while directing music videos for various artists, including The Tragically Hip and The Zolas.
