Marie-Christine Gambart is a French film director, producer and screenwriter. She has been a major force in the French film industry for over two decades.

Gambart was born in 1969 in Paris and studied Film at the Sorbonne. She began her career in the early 1990s as an assistant director, working on a number of French TV series and films. She then started writing and directing her own short films, and in 2003 had her feature film debut with “La Mecanique du Printemps”.

In the years since, Gambart has established herself as one of the most important voices in French filmmaking. She has directed several critically acclaimed feature films, including “The Miracle of Petit-Clamart” (2006), “The Art of Love” (2009) and “The Dream of a Summer Day” (2013). She has also produced several award-winning documentaries, including “The Battle of the Seine” (2004) and “The Great War” (2009).

Gambart has won numerous awards for her work, including the Prix du Jury at the Cannes Film Festival for “The Miracle of Petit-Clamart”. She has also received nominations for the Cesar Award and the European Film Award.
