Nadav Harel is an Israeli film director, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for his critically acclaimed film "The Exchange" which won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at the Haifa International Film Festival in 2020.

Harel was born in Tel Aviv in 1975 and grew up in a small town in the Galilee region. He studied at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem from 1994 to 1999, and graduated with honors.

In 2003, Harel released his first feature film, "The Exchange", which was an instant critical and commercial success. The film tells the story of a young man, who struggles to overcome his past and present difficulties while working as a currency exchange dealer in an Israeli bank. The film was praised for its emotional depth and visual beauty.

Harel followed up "The Exchange" with two more feature films, "The Good Son" (2007) and "The Dream of a Butterfly" (2009). Both films were met with positive reviews and received several international awards.
