Perrine Gamot is a French film director, producer and screenwriter. She is best known for her work on the documentary films: “The French Way”, “The Secret Life of Birds” and “The Invisible Musicians”.

Perrine Gamot was born in Paris, France in 1980. She grew up in a creative family and was exposed to the arts from a young age. She studied a degree in Film Studies at the University of Paris and graduated in 2003. During her studies she made several short films which were selected by several international film festivals.

In 2004, Gamot directed her first documentary feature film, “The French Way”. This film was about the transformation of French society and culture after the election of President Chirac. The film was critically acclaimed and won several awards, including the Grand Prize at the Festivals des Trophées du Cinéma.

In 2008, Gamot directed her second documentary feature film “The Secret Life of Birds”. This film explored the mysterious and complex lives of birds, as well as their relationship with humans. The film was a great success and was nominated for the Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 2012, Gamot released her third documentary film, “The Invisible Musicians”. This film was about the underground music scene in Paris and the inspiring stories of the musicians who participated in it. The film was well-received by audiences and critics alike and won several awards.

In 2014, Gamot was nominated for the Best Documentary Film at the César Awards for her film “The French Way”. She was also nominated for Best Director at the same award ceremony.

Gamot is currently in development of her next documentary film which is slated for release in 2021. She is also a writer and has published several essays and articles about film and culture.
