Chelsea is an actor and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. She began her career as a child actor in theater performances, and later appeared in films and television. Her breakout role was in the 2018 film, The Hate U Give. Since then, she has gone on to appear in other films and shows, such as Shadowhunters, The Sun Is Also a Star, and Everything, Everything.

Chelsea began performing in theater productions when she was just four years old. She was immediately drawn to the stage, and quickly developed a love for acting. As a young adult, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. She quickly landed roles in television and film, including appearances on shows such as Glee, Law & Order: SVU, and The Fosters.

In 2018, Chelsea was cast in the film adaptation of Angie Thomas’ novel, The Hate U Give. The film was an incredible success, and earned her critical acclaim for her portrayal of Starr Carter, a teen living between two worlds. Her performance earned her several award nominations, and pushed her career to greater heights.

In addition to her film and television work, Chelsea also has a passion for music. She is a singer-songwriter, and has released several singles and an EP. Her music is a mix of soul, pop, and R&B, and she often writes her own songs. She has collaborated with several other artists, and has been featured on several tracks.
