Mahmoud al Massad is an award-winning Jordanian filmmaker whose career has spanned over two decades. He is best known for his critically acclaimed films Raghdoon, The Last Friday, and The Idiot.
Born and raised in Jordan, al Massad came from a family of filmmakers. His father, Adnan al Massad, was a cinematographer and his uncle, Riyad al-Massad, was a well-known director.
