Chingiz Narynov (born September 11, 1980) is a Russian director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work on the feature film “The White Tiger” (2015), which he both wrote and directed.
Narynov was born in Moscow, Russia, and raised in a small rural village in the Caucasus Mountains. He attended school in Moscow, and then the Moscow Institute of Cinematography (VGIK).
Narynov began his career as an assistant director on several Russian films and television shows. He then went on to write and direct his first feature film, “The White Tiger”, which was released in 2015. The film was met with critical acclaim, and won several awards, including the Best Feature Film Award at the Moscow International Film Festival.
