Alisoun Grant is a Scottish actor and comedian best known for her roles in the BBC sitcoms Absolutely Fabulous and Chewing Gum. She was born on April 19, 1971, in Glasgow, Scotland, to parents who were both teachers.
Grant attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and went on to work in theater, television, and film. Her first film role was in the 1993 British comedy, Cold Comfort Farm, where she played the role of Flora Poste. She went on to work in the British television series Absolutely Fabulous, playing Patsy Stone's best friend, Bubble, for three seasons. She also starred in the British comedy series Chewing Gum, playing the role of Tracey Gordon.
In addition to her television and film roles, Grant has also appeared in numerous plays, including the West End production of Alan Ayckbourn's The Norman Conquests, as well as productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, and A Streetcar Named Desire. She is also an accomplished voice actor, having provided the voice for the character of Millie in the animated television series Bob the Builder.
