Colin Benders is a Dutch actor and musician best known for his roles in the Netflix series Into the Night and the Dutch television series SpangaS.
Colin Benders was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1992. He was raised in a family of musicians, and was exposed to various musical genres from an early age. He began playing the piano at age five, and by the time he was fourteen he had mastered the instrument. He also began playing the drums and guitar around this time.
Benders went on to study acting at the Amsterdam School of the Arts, from which he graduated in 2014. While attending school, he also continued to hone his musical skills, performing in various bands and releasing a few solo singles.
Benders’ acting career began in earnest in 2015, when he was cast in the Dutch television series SpangaS. He went on to appear in several other Dutch television series, including Brugklas and Nieuwe Tijden.
In 2020, Benders was cast in the Netflix series Into the Night. In the show, he plays the role of Terenzio, a man who is part of a group of passengers trying to outrun a mysterious force that is slowly consuming the Earth.
In addition to acting, Benders is also a talented musician. He has released two solo albums, and plays in several bands, including the psychedelic rock band The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble.
