David Bagby is an American actor, comedian, and writer who is best known for his roles in popular films and television shows. He was born in Los Angeles, California on July 6, 1960.

Bagby had a passion for performing from an early age, and he started out as a stand-up comedian in the late 1970s. He quickly gained a following, and eventually appeared on television shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Larry Sanders Show, and The Tonight Show.

Throughout the 80s, Bagby continued to hone his comedic skills, appearing in a number of films including Beverly Hills Cop, The Last Boy Scout, and Clueless. He also had a recurring role in the hit sitcom Cheers.

In the late 90s, Bagby began to branch out into other genres, appearing in dramas such as The Virgin Suicides and The Last Picture Show. He also had a memorable role in the award-winning movie American Beauty.

Bagby continued to stay busy, appearing in films such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and The Hangover. He also had a recurring role in the hit television show, Entourage.
