Ross Marroso is an American film and television director, writer, and producer. He is best known for his Emmy-nominated work on the acclaimed Netflix series, Stranger Things. Marroso has also directed episodes of the hit Amazon Prime series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, as well as the critically acclaimed Hulu series, Castle Rock.

Marroso was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a production assistant for a variety of television shows and movies. He quickly moved up the ranks and became an associate producer on shows such as The X-Files and CSI: Miami.

Marroso made the jump to directing in 2008, when he was tapped to direct an episode of the popular police drama, The Shield. The episode was highly praised and earned Marroso his first Emmy nomination.

Since then, Marroso has directed episodes of some of the most popular and acclaimed television shows of the last decade, including House of Cards, Supernatural, and Star Trek: Discovery. He has also directed several feature films, including the award-winning drama, The Winter's Tale.
