Shawn Pyfrom is an American actor and director who is best known for his roles in the hit television show Desperate Housewives and the film The Girl Next Door. Born in Tampa, Florida on August 16, 1986, Shawn began his career at the age of six when he was cast in a Burger King commercial. He went on to appear in a number of television shows and films, including the critically acclaimed series Freaks and Geeks.

In 2004, Shawn was cast as Andrew Van de Kamp on the ABC hit television show Desperate Housewives. He portrayed the character for five seasons, earning two Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Following his success on the show, Shawn appeared in a number of films such as The Girl Next Door and Miracle at St. Anna.

Shawn has also been involved in directing. He directed and produced the short film A Boy Called Po, which was an official selection at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2015.
