BIO

Tal Skloot is an award-winning director, producer, and writer. He has directed feature films, documentaries, television shows, and commercials. He is also a professor at New York University, teaching courses in directing, editing, and cinematography.

Skloot was born in Israel and moved to the United States when he was a child. He attended college at the University of Southern California, where he studied filmmaking and television production. After graduating, he worked as an editor on a number of television shows and films. In 2000, he wrote and directed his first feature film, “The Toll.” The film was a critical success and won several awards.

In 2004, Skloot wrote and directed his first documentary, “The Stand.” The film explored the struggles of a small town in the United States during the height of the opioid epidemic. The film was well-received and won several awards.
