Volodymyr Rybas is a Ukrainian film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor. He is best known for his films Tin Soldiers (2014), The Miracle of Love (2015), and The Sea of Lost Souls (2019).

Born in 1974 in the Ukraine, Rybas studied filmmaking at the Kiev National University of Theatre, Film and Television, graduating in 2000. In the same year, he co-directed his first feature film, The Miracle of Love, which was released in 2004.

In 2006, Rybas directed Tin Soldiers, a romantic comedy-drama about a Ukrainian soldier who falls in love with a Russian woman. The film was a hit in the Ukraine, and Rybas followed it up with the critically acclaimed The Miracle of Love in 2015. The movie follows a young couple as they struggle to make a life together in the face of the war in eastern Ukraine.

In 2019, Rybas released his third feature film, The Sea of Lost Souls. The film follows a group of Ukrainian refugees as they attempt to cross the treacherous sea to reach safety in Europe. The movie received positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success.

In addition to his film work, Rybas has also acted in several Ukrainian television shows, including The Black Bride and The Price of Faith.

Rybas has received numerous awards for his work, including the Best Director award from the Ukrainian National Film Festival in 2006 for Tin Soldiers and the Best Film award from the Ukrainian Film Critics Association in 2015 for The Miracle of Love.

Rybas continues to work in the Ukrainian film industry, directing, producing, and writing films. His latest film, The Sea of Lost Souls, is currently in post-production.
